Concept: Observe the emergence of complex behaviors as five distinct species (represented by mobile agents) roam a planet, gather resources, reproduce, interact through diplomacy, and engage in conflict.
Key Mechanics:
Agents: Each civilization fields units (colored spheres) that move across the planet surface.
Movement: Agents wander semi-randomly, seeking resources or reacting to nearby agents.
Resources: Planet faces have resource levels (indicated by yellow tint on grey faces). Agents gather resources from faces they pass over, depleting them temporarily. Resources regenerate slowly.
Reproduction: Civilizations spend stockpiled resources to create new agents near existing ones.
Diplomacy: When agents from different civs meet, their civilizations' relationship (Peace, Trade, Alliance, War) influences the encounter. Diplomacy evolves based on interactions and traits.
Conflict: If agents from warring civs meet, combat occurs (white flash). Outcome is probabilistic based on civ strength (agents + resources), potentially destroying an agent.
Trade: Active Trade Agreements provide passive resource bonuses. Routes (glowing lines) link the average positions of trading civs' agents.
How to Use:
